Our project activities and service delivery are designed to help Lewisham and Bromley residents living with significant illness or mental health issues and to improve their quality of life.
The help or support co-workers receive is guided by the client (co-worker) themselves, with minimum expectations on our behalf, although we are hoping for an improvement to take place.
Service delivery is in a setting whereby most common barriers, such as social isolation, depression, fear and anxieties can be addressed in a non-clinical, supportive way. We generate positive outcomes through constant encouragement and reassurance, and through the general regularity and structure that a placement in our project offers.
Instrumental on this journey of recovery are the regular signposting events at the garden and quarterly goal setting and review sessions that go a little beyond the immediate gardening practise and creative activities we provide, all of which can be shared in the friendly group setting.
