It was a absolute pleasure to welcome back local company GO Contaminated Land Solutions Ltd to our De Frene Market Garden site recently. It’s been fantastic building up the relationship with Go Contaminated Land Solutions who have supported Sydenham Garden over several years taking on various jobs around the site.
This visit saw the team take on the tricky job of constructing a new wildlife pond adjacent to the hub building. Excavation for the pond had started prior to the Covid-19 pandemic but work came to a standstill during lock down.
With great enthusiasm the team from Go Contaminated Land Solutions completed the excavation before laying a waterproof liner; filling the pond and installing various plants. They finished off the work by landscaping the area around the pond in stone and constructing a waterfall!
The team’s dedication was evident in that not being able to complete the project in a day as planned they made time to call in several days later to finish off the work.
Many thanks to all the team for their hard work, dedication and continued support of Sydenham Garden. The pond is amazing!
