News in Brief

Our new knitting group on alternate Monday mornings has been a great success so far, with lots of creative people sharing ideas and supporting each other.

Growing Lives are selling cut flowers to local florists each week, raising funds for the project and creating great publicity for our work.

We welcomed a new member of staff (ex-volunteer) Rosie Hollands to the Sow & Grow team this Summer. Rosie leads the Growing Together sessions, for co-workers living with dementia and their carers.  The first group went really well and we’ve received lots of positive feedback.

Our Transitions programme helps co-workers who are ending their Sydenham Garden groups to finish in a supported and positive way. Recent Transitions groups have been particularly beneficial, with co-workers moving on to new settings with confidence.

#Defrenefest19 was our best summer festival yet.  Read all about it here.
