Community Volunteer Days – September Apple Day

A big thank you to everyone who attended our apple focused Community Volunteer Day on Saturday!

We made a great start on the apple harvest. Everyone enjoyed our earth oven pizzas and delicious freshly pressed apple juice too.

The last Community Volunteer Day of 2016 is on Saturday 15th October. Please join us, especially because we are planning a celebration feast in thanks for all your hard work this year!

Community Volunteer Days: Come along to our De Frene Road site for a monthly day of helping out and having fun!

Community Volunteer Days, every third Saturday of the month 10:30 to 14:00

This is a great opportunity to help establish and maintain our new site, De Frene. Home of the Growing Lives project. On the day there will be a mixture of horticultural and light building/DIY tasks, and some clearing work to get stuck into.

A hearty Lunch will be provided.
