We are recruiting

The deadline for applications has now closed

We are currently recruiting for an Outreach and Development Worker

Are you ready for something truly rewarding? We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic individual to maintain links with our referrers, assess referrals, and help co-workers (the name we give our service users) improve their health during their placement with us. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and knowledge in mental health care work.

Sydenham Garden has been leading the field in creative and community based activities that aid people’s recovery from mental ill-health and other significant illnesses for over 10 years now. These range from innovative projects like Garden, which uses horticulture as therapy in our nature reserve and restored Victorian gardens. There are also art groups in our environmentally friendly resource centre and our newest project, Growing Lives, which combines therapeutic horticulture with vocational training.

The closing date for applications is 9am, 12th February 2016.
