Jim was a GP in Sydenham for over 30 years and remains Joint GP Mental Health Lead for Lewisham Clinical Commissioning Group.
Maria Devereaux, Vice Chair of Trustees
Founding Director and Board member of Local Greens, a local not for profit veg bag scheme. Currently part time at Sustain, the alliance for sustainable food and farming, managing a project called Growing Health, which focuses on the health and wellbeing benefits of food growing and linking with the health service. Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) practitioner for Stepping Stones, a charity for adults with learning disabilities and the Albany Theatre, Deptford Green dyslexia group, whilst studying for a Diploma in STH at Coventry University.
Reg Wickings, Treasurer
Reg is a recently retired Senior Manager in public sector housing with 35 years’ experience in refurbishment project management. He is an accomplished gardener and is currently studying garden design; he is also interested and active in visual arts including painting, drawing and photography.
Sir Steve Bullock,
Steve was the elected Mayor of Lewisham for 16 years before retiring in 2018. He now works part time as the chair of a housing organisation in South West London and supports local groups through his work as a Deputy Lieutenant.
Graeme Thomson, Deputy Chair, Company Secretary
Graeme has lived locally for almost 40 years and has a keen interest in gardening & mental well-being. He has been a director of public and private companies worldwide for over 30 years as Chief Executive, Finance Director, Company Secretary and as a Non-Executive.
Arthur is a very experienced and accomplished accountant with over 20 years of diverse Commercial and Strategic Finance experience and leadership across various industries, multinationals and SMEs. Arthur enjoys golf, tennis, and football, he lives in Wimbledon with his family.
Grahame is a local resident, with some 30 years’ experience as a Director of various not-for-profit organisations in the housing and care sectors.
Fran Bristow recently retired after 30 years working as a nurse and as a manager within NHS mental health services in South London.
Anne is a retired GP who has worked in Forest Hill for 25 years.
Our trustees are also elected by rotation, and therefore we are always interested in meeting prospective trustees. Please do get in touch if you are interested in becoming one.
