Sydenham Garden Resource Centre in South East London raises prestigious Green Flag Award after achieving international quality mark for parks and green spaces.
Sydenham Garden Resource Centre is celebrating after receiving a Green Flag Community Award for 2025 / 26, which recognises quality sites managed by voluntary and community groups.
The site is one of 2,250 in the UK to achieve a Green Flag Award, which is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.
Keep Britain Tidy’s Green Flag Award Scheme Manager, Paul Todd MBE said:

The Green Flag Award scheme, managed by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy under licence from the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government, recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of green spaces across the United Kingdom and around the world.
