From midday today, 3rd December, Sydenham Garden is taking part in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge!
For one week only – 3rd – 10th December – any donation you make to Sydenham Garden will be DOUBLED, meaning DOUBLE the impact for people with mental health needs and dementia in our community.
The past year has been tough for all of us, from the continuing cost of living crisis to global conflicts and uncertainty, and the impact on our mental health has never been greater. Sydenham Garden is here to support people who are struggling with their mental health and those with dementia. In the calmness and safety of our gardens, we provide people with a community of support. Please help us double the difference we make by donating whatever you can.
We are hoping to raise a huge £7,200 during just one week and every penny you can give will help. With your support we can:
- Provide weekly therapeutic gardening groups to local people with mental health needs
- Teach horticultural skills and create local nature advocates
- Give people with dementia an inclusive weekly space to express themselves through singing, dancing, cooking and art
