Record Breaking Spring Fair.
A huge thank you to the 560 visitors who attended our Spring Fair on 10 May 2025 and who made it a record-breaking event by generously spending over £5300 on the various Sydenham Garden stalls including: the plant sale, art & craft items made in various project sessions; delicious homemade cakes; freshly made pizza. There were also craft activities for families in the meadow and a lucky dip for children. As always, all money raised goes towards our work helping local people attending our projects.
Visitors were able to enjoy the gardens and nature reserve in full bloom on what was a very warm sunny spring day.
A huge thank you also goes to Perry Vale Assembly who partnered with us again in putting on the Fair, and to Lewisham Council for its continued generous funding.
Local residents were also able to come and talk to local organisations including:
- The Sydenham Society
- Positive Ageing Council
- Lewisham Local
- Forest Hill Bowling Club
- Imago
- Plateful Cafe
Thanks also goes to the team of Sydenham Garden co-workers and volunteers who worked tirelessly making items for sale; baking cakes; setting up the event; running stalls and facilitating activities. Without their help and support we wouldn’t be able to put on such events.
